Again and again I’ve come across the same basic principles for what people around the world do to live longer, healthier lives. In most old cultures these principles are habits that are woven into the fabric of everyday life. Here are the essentials of how to maintain your health. 1. Eat 20% less. 2. Eat more vegetables. 3. Eat more whole foods and foods in their natural states like legumes and grass fed meats and eat less sugar. 4. Sit down and take time eating your meals. 5. Get up and move. You don’t have to go to a gym but it’s best to get regular physical activity like a daily walk. 6. Relax and take time to do things you enjoy and to spend time with people you love.
