The Herpes Simplex Virus is something that affects millions of people. HSV1 which causes cold sores on the mouth, eyes or the face is estimated to be present in 50-80 percent of the American adult population. HSV2 which causes genital herpes is estimated to be present in about 1/3 of the population, with approximately 500,000 new American teens being diagnosed every year. Having an outbreak of either HSV1 or HSV2 can be painful and sometimes takes several weeks to heal. In my clinic, one of my recommendations in treatment is supplementing your diet with a strain of Red Marine Algae called Gigartina. Research has been done on Gigartina in treating the Herpes Simplex Virus revealing that it stimulates an immune response that can fight the virus and keep it at bay. Gigartina has also been shown to reduce the amount of colonies in an outbreak, therefore reducing the severity of an outbreak. 1000mg per day is the recommended dosage for outbreak prevention, and 2500mg per day is recommended during an outbreak. Usually the Gigartina Algae is encapsulated. In addition to taking the capsules internally, you may also open the capsule and apply the powder from the capsule directly the any herpes lesions in addition to taking it orally. Gigartina is natural and safe and can be taken with Valtrex and other western medications. If you are infected with the Herpes Simplex Virus, my recommendation is that you give it a try.

Hi, I started a Master Cleanse Diet and start taking Gigartina 3,000 mg because I am having a herpes OB after another. Since I am taking Gigartina, I noticed that outbreaks are different. Now I am getting huge blisters one pops up realease fluid and then another ones come out overnight, this never happened before. I used to get only 2 or 3 little blisters and once they released fluid it will take another week to get new bleesters coming out.
Should I stop taking Gigartina or this is a good sign.

I have never seen or read about Gigartina increasing HSV outbreaks. However severe cleansing diets can actually weaken the body’s ability to fight infection and inflammation. By drinking only water, lemon juice, cayenne and maple syrup, you are depriving your body of its essential vitamins and nutrition which help keep your immune system strong. This in turn can make you more susceptible to outbreaks. Another possibility is that you may be having an allergic reaction to the Gigartina, or something else in the capsule. If you think this maybe the case, stop taking the Gigartina and set up an appointment for the affected area to be examined by a skin care specialist. And if you are trying to detox or lose weight, I am happy to make some recommendations for you based on your individual situation. I was diagnosed with hsv 1 & 2 back in 1994. I also have epstein barr virus and H. pylori. I’ve never taken valtrex or other herpes medication because I was told it will suppress the virus into the body, which is not good because any virus or bacteria should come out of the body, not hide or burrowed into the body by medication. Well, I was told to take mms to kill the virus and I’ve read testimonies from those saying it was effective in killing viruses. I need and want to put my body in a healthy state and get rid of this darn virus and other infections. Can you suggest on what I should take to get rid of these viruses and what foods should i stay away from? Please, please help me.

HSV Is nearly impossible to get rid of. My recommendation is that you do not take Valtrex but instead take RMA Gigartina and at least 1500mg lysine per day to prevent the virus from multiplying, and to keep it suppressed. It is actually favorable to you to keep the virus embedded and inactive within the nerve dermatome root. Mms do you mean MnMs? Chocolate is really bad for HSV because of it’s high argentine vs. Lysine ratio. Foods high in argentine trigger activation of HSV. check out this website. Rule of thumb is to know what foods to avoid if you are highly susceptible to outbreaks : http://www.herpes.com/Nutrition.shtml. It sounds like you are generally immune deficient. Epstein Barr Virus does not stay in your system. Acupuncture and herbal medicine can help so give it a try. H Pylori is bacterial and stubborn. Take antibiotics for this one. It is a regimen of about 5 days and then poof it’s gone. And then you can take probiotics to restore your gut health to restore healthy bacterial balance. As I said, it seems your immune system needs a boost; you are a perfect fit for Chinese Medicine. I would need to see you and talk to you personally to determine the best regimen. I hope this helps.

I’m currently taking selenium to stop the virus from replicating. And MMS stands for miracle mineral supplement, it kills viruses, bacteria and pathogens. I had this virus for over ten years and I recently discovered this product. You can google it, or read up about from Jim humble who also makes and recommends it. So you suggest Chinese herbs? Would like to know which herbs specifically and or if you would like to see me, please email me personally. Also, I’ve been drinking kefir and another probiotics to kill h. Pylori. I was taking mms as well before I ran out of it. It maybe gone, don’t know yet. Would to speak with you. I pray and believe God will heal me from all of this, so I won’t accept that hsv 1& 2 is hard to get rid of. I have faith. I have had my share of trying different mess for HSV 2 and with some suppression success. I’d like to try the Gigartina Red Marine Algea but need to know
1. Should I take all the mg capsules at once (500) to get in my 1k / day?
2. Can it be taken with any of the following? L-lysine, Vitamin C, Vitamin D, or Zinc?
Please let me know of any other caveats like side effects, overdosage etc. I plan to order this online.

Gigartina contains a sulphated version of beta-glucan called Fucoidan. Many sea weeds contain this as well including Bladderwrack and brown seaweed. Beta Glucans are potent immune modulators. Herpes virus blocks maturation of dendrite immune cells. This is critical because its the dendrites that transfer the antigen info from the innate to the adaptive whereby the T cells use the antigens to fight the virus. Beta Glucans allow the dendrites to mature properly to the adaptive system. For a multi pronged attack take monolaurin, it weakens the protein coat on Herpes allowing immune system to disable it. Monolaurin also assists dendrite “communication”, which once again is critical. Terminalia Chebula, which is in Triphala, is extremely beneficial as well. It works by blocking cell to cell transmission of HSV. It does not however affect viral load within cells, just blocks transmission. Neem works essentially the same way as well. Cordyceps also is a potent dendrite maturation enabler. With Cordyceps, monolaurin, Neem and Chebula, my last cold sore lasted 2 days instead of 14+….well worth the investment.
